Overview

Now in its fifth year, the Advanced Reactors Summit V will take place at the world-renowned Texas A&M University after successive ground-breaking Summits at Argonne National Laboratory, the University of Massachusetts Lowell and Oak Ridge National Laboratory. The Summit V will continue its focus on showcasing technology developers and advancing solutions on the cost and deployment timeframe of advanced reactors, as well as practical ideas and concepts that have the potential of significantly improving advanced reactor design, deployment, and operations.

Career Fair & Welcome Reception at Texas A&M's Kyle Field

New to the Advanced Reactor Summit V will be a Career Fair that will precede the Welcome Reception on February 20th at Texas A&M's Kyle Field's luxurious Legacy Club. The Career Fair will feature students from the nation's largest Nuclear Engineering program with a current enrollment of 295 undergraduate and 140 graduate students.  

 

Regarded as one of the nation's most intimidating road venues, Texas A&M's Kyle Field has been the home of the Aggie football team since 1905 and the Legacy Club is it's primer venue used to entertain Texas A&M's top donors. Texas A&M's Nuclear Engineering program is ranked second nationally among undergraduate programs and third in graduate programs among public universities.

Trailblazer Award Reception at the

George Bush Presidential Library and Museum

The Advanced Reactor Summit V will once again honor an individual for their  pioneering contributions to advancing nuclear energy. The previous honoree was Dr. Jose Reyes, co-founder of NuScale Power. 

 

The award ceremony will be featured at Wednesday's reception which will take place at the George Bush Presidential Library and Museum at Texas A&M University after the first day's plenary session.

The Technology Trailblazers Showcase

The Technology Showcase will once again include a platform for companies, suppliers and innovators to present, discuss and display new and developing technology to attendees as part of the Advanced Reactors Technical Summit V. This is your chance to showcase technology that your company or organization is using or developing to top executives within the nuclear industry.
