Overview

Now in its sixth year, the Advanced Reactors Summit VI & Showcase is the largest cross-cutting technology gathering of the Advanced Nuclear community in the United States with more than 300 participants expected for its array of events.  The Advanced Reactors Summit VI will take place at the University of California San Diego, a top 15 research university worldwide, after successive ground-breaking Summits at Argonne National Laboratory, the University of Massachusetts Lowell, Oak Ridge National Laboratory and Texas A&M University. The Summit VI will continue its focus on showcasing technology developers and advancing solutions on the cost and deployment timeframe of advanced reactors, as well as practical ideas and concepts that have the potential of significantly improving advanced reactor design, deployment, and operations.

Trailblazer Award Reception

The Advanced Reactor Summit VI will once again honor an individual for their  pioneering contributions to advancing nuclear energy. The previous honorees were Dr. Jose Reyes, co-founder of NuScale Power and The Hon. Tim Echols, Commissioner and Vice Chairman of the Georgia Public Service Commission. 

 

The award ceremony will be featured at Wednesday's reception which will take place in UC San Diego's Price Center after the first day's plenary session

The Technology Trailblazers Showcase

The Technology Showcase will once again include a platform for companies, suppliers and innovators to present, discuss and display new and developing technology to attendees as part of the Advanced Reactors Technical Summit VI. This is your chance to showcase technology that your company or organization is using or developing to top executives within the nuclear industry. Career Fair & Welcome Reception

Continuing on the success of the Advanced Reactor Summit V Career Fair with Texas A&M, the Advanced Reactor Summit VI will once again feature a Career Fair that will precede the Welcome Reception on January 29th at UC San Diego's Price Center. The Career Fair has partnered with the University of California San Diego's Jacobs School of Engineering, Corporate Affiliates Program, Center for Energy Research, and Office of Research Affairs and will feature students from the nation's ninth-largest Engineering program.  

 

This will be an excellent opportunity to promote your company and gain the attention of the nation's brightest next generation of nuclear engineers in a venue that can't be missed.
